Birth Control Pill Study
Clinical Research Center is conducting a clinical research study
of an investigational oral medication for birth control.
Qualified participants will receive at no cost for up to 12
months:
- Periodic gynecological exams
- Investigational oral birth control medication
Females who are 18-40 years of age, sexually active, and have
regular menstrual cycles may be eligible for participation.
Compensation is available for time and travel. Participation is
Voluntary.

Depo Provera Study for Women Who Are Not at Risk for Pregnancy
If you’re a woman 18 to 40 years old, not currently pregnant and
not planning to become pregnant in the next 12 months, you may
be eligible to participate. You must be either: in an
exclusively same-gender relationship, in a monogamous
relationship with a vasectomized partner, abstinent, or using a
non-hormonal IUD. Compensation is provided to participants.

IUD Study
The Clinical Research Center is conducting a research trial of
an investigational contraceptive intrauterine system and Mirena®.
If you are a healthy female between the ages of 16 and 45, are
sexually active and in a mutually monogamous relationship, are
willing to rely on the IUS as your primary method of
contraception during study participation, have regular menstrual
cycles and are willing to comply with study requirements, you
may qualify to participate. IF YOU ARE YOUNGER THAN EIGHTEEN, YOU
MUST HAVE PROOF OF EMANCIPATION.

Chlamydia Study
Have you or your partner been diagnosed with Chlamydia within the
last two weeks? The CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTER at EVMS is conducting a
clinical research trial of an investigational medication. Both men
and women ages 19-45 may be eligible to participate if diagnosed
with Chlamydia by a doctor within the last 14 days or if your
partner has been diagnosed with it. You must be willing to complete
study visits and comply with the study protocol. Financial
compensation provided.
