In the 20 years since it has opened, The Clinical Research Center (CRC) has managed more than 200 Phase I, II, III, IV clinical studies utilizing a variety of drugs and devices. Our particular focus has been Women's Health. We have worked with more than 30 pharmaceutical industry sponsors, and in addition, have received research foundation and strong government support.

The CRC is experienced in the utilization of multiple drug delivery systems. We have evaluated medications given by oral, vaginal, transdermal, and intrauterine routes, and systemic methods through biodegradable pellets and microcapsules and non-biodegradable rod implants. We have performed studies with a variety of contraceptive barrier agents, such as suppositories, films, condoms, and diaphragm-like devices.

We have developed expertise in post coital and colposcopy evaluations, vaginal ultrasounds in the evaluation of follicular inhibition, endometrial biopsy evaluations, bone density studies, pharmacokinetic testing, and preparation of blood and tissue samples for a variety of tests.
